Forest Machinery – FPM TR 190 N

Concentrated power in a narrow chassis.
The FPM TR 190 N (Narrow) is the ultimate solution for forestry work in dense or hard-to-access environments requiring the maximum power of 190 HP in a compact format. With a configurable width starting at just 2,550 mm and an operating weight of 23.2 tons, it offers simplified transport logistics and superior agility without sacrificing the high hydraulic flow of its larger sibling.

Large description

Engineering:
Built for the woods Compact Design and Efficient Logistics: The “N” designation defines its character: a narrow chassis that varies between 2,550 mm and 2,990 mm. This feature is crucial for operators who need to move the machine frequently by road without complex special transport permits, or for working in thinnings and selective cuts where space between trees is limited. Despite its reduced size, it maintains the structural robustness of the TR range.

Efficient and Protected Core
Unlike the standard model, the TR 190 N mounts a Cummins B4.5 engine, optimized to deliver the same 190 HP of force with a more compact and efficient architecture. The machine comes armored as standard: ROPS/FOPS certified structure, OPS certified polycarbonate windows, and “Heavy Duty” (HD) protection on the swivel joint, cylinders, and travel motors.

Top-Level Hydraulic Performance
Don’t let its size fool you. The TR 190 N is equipped with the same high-performance hydraulic system as the standard model, delivering a flow of 450 l/min at 350 bar. This ensures the machine can feed harvesting heads, disc fellers, or mulchers with the same ferocity and response speed as larger machines.

Fleet Compatibility
Thanks to its combination of a narrow chassis and high hydraulic power, the FPM TR 190 N is exceptionally versatile for contractors performing multiple types of harvesting.

Recommended Attachments:

  • Harvesting Heads: AFM 55, AFM 60.
  • Tree Shears: Westtech C450, Vosch 1950 VC.
  • Disc Fellers: Trim 380.
  • Mulchers: FAE BL3-UML/S.

Hydraulic Requirements:

  • High Flow Line: 450 l/min at 350 bar.
  • Low Flow Line: 60 l/min at 180 bar.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. What is the main advantage of the TR 190 N over the standard TR 190? The key advantage is its width. The TR 190 N can be configured with a width of 2,550 mm, which greatly facilitates road transport and allows working in narrower passages, whereas the standard TR 190 has a width of 2,990 mm.

2. Does the smaller engine affect head performance?
No. Although it mounts a Cummins B4.5 (compared to the B6.7 in the standard), the power remains at 190 HP and, most importantly, the hydraulic flow remains at 450 l/min. You will have the same working capacity with the attachment.

3. Does it come protected for hard forestry work?
Yes, it includes the full FPM protection package: HD guard plate for the swivel joint, reinforcements on travel motors, hose protection on the boom and stick, and OPS safety windows.

4. What type of tracks or pads does it use?
It comes standard with 500 mm pads to maintain the narrow profile, although it supports other configurations depending on terrain needs.

5. Is it compatible with digital management systems?
Yes, the machine can include the “Connected Machine” system (FPLINK) for performance analysis and alert management, optimizing maintenance and productivity.
