1. What is the maximum log diameter the W820 can split? The 820 mm opening of the tongs determines the size of the last split piece, but it does not limit the maximum log diameter that can be processed, as multiple passes can be made on much thicker pieces until they are fully divided.  

2. Can the tongs be used to load trucks? Yes. Thanks to its robust construction and geometry, the Woodcracker W820 can perfectly serve as a loading gripper to handle and organize logs on-site or load them into trailers and chippers.

3. How does this tool assist in wood seasoning? By splitting the logs, the inner part is exposed to the air, facilitating a much faster natural drying process than in whole logs. This reduces moisture, improves chip quality, and increases its energy value.

4. What maintenance does the equipment require? It is a low-maintenance attachment. The use of Hardox® steel minimizes blade wear, and the premium bearings only require periodic greasing, which reduces technical downtime in the field.
