Chassis Design and Stability: More robust than its smaller sibling, the 6HP GT features a wheel configuration that maximizes flotation and traction. It mounts 26.5-inch front tires (larger than the 5HP series) and 34-inch rear tires, providing superior capability over obstacles and soft soils without sacrificing stability. Its tractive force reaches 171 kN, allowing confident operation on steep slopes.  

Power and Hydraulic Efficiency: The heart of this machine is the 7.4-liter AGCO Power 74 LFTN (Stage V) engine, tuned to deliver 230 hp (169 kW) and constant torque of 1000 Nm. This drives a 190 l/min hydraulic system, optimized to handle larger heads fluidly. The TOC 2 electronic management ensures every drop of fuel translates to production, preventing engine strain even under high loads.

Cabin and TOC-MD 2 Technology: The operator environment is designed for long-term productivity. Equipped with the TOC-MD 2 control and measuring system, the 6HP GT offers millimeter-precision cutting and total customization of controls. The cabin, tested and approved under strict safety standards, offers excellent visibility and comfort options such as the leveling and rotating system, which is crucial for reducing fatigue on uneven terrain.

1. What is the main difference between the Logset 6HP GT and the 5HP GT? The 6HP GT is a heavier (18t vs 15t) and more robust machine. It fits larger front wheels (26.5″) and offers significantly higher tractive force (171 kN vs 135 kN), making it superior in difficult terrain and suitable for heavier logging operations.

2. Can it perform final felling efficiently? Yes, when equipped with the TH65 head, the 6HP GT is a highly competent machine for final felling (regeneration harvesting) in medium-diameter stands, offering a more economical and agile alternative to 20-ton class harvesters.

3. How does the hydraulic system affect fuel consumption? The Load Sensing hydraulic system, managed by the TOC 2 software, adjusts flow and pressure to the exact demand of the moment.
