Following the “engineering for the woods” philosophy, the Woodcracker CL190 is built entirely from high-strength Hardox® steel. Its compact design allows for mounting not only on mini-excavators but also on farm loaders and small telehandlers. To ensure superior durability in humid environments, it features a KTL (cathodic dip-priming) treatment and powder coating, protecting the structure against corrosion and severe wear.

As a rigid version, it offers a simple, direct connection with an ideal mounting angle that facilitates precise handling from the cabin. Its hydraulic system requires low flows (40-80 l/min), allowing for seamless integration without overstressing the carrier machine’s mechanics, guaranteeing low maintenance and a long service life.

The CL190’s cutting mechanism features a high-strength blade that is easily replaceable and extremely robust against dirt or stones. Its design allows for simple resharpening, ensuring the head always operates at peak efficiency. The result is a clean, fast cut in stems up to 190 mm in hardwood, optimizing material preparation for subsequent biomass processing.

1. Can I use the Woodcracker CL190 for urban tree felling? Caution is advised. The CL series is not suitable for hazardous tree felling, as it cannot guarantee a full safety grip of the cut material. For precision or high-risk felling, we recommend the Woodcracker C or CS series.

2. What maintenance does the blade require? The blade is made of high-strength steel and is designed to be resistant to dirt. It is easily replaceable and can be resharpened simply to maintain optimum cutting performance.

3. Is it difficult to install this head on my mini-excavator? Not at all. The rigid design provides a simple and direct connection to the machine, with an optimized mounting angle for quick “Plug & Play” installation.

4. What materials can I process with the CL190? It is ideal for the rapid harvesting of shrubs, brushwood, and small trees up to 250 mm in softwood. It is perfect for agricultural land clearing and landscape maintenance.

5. Can it be mounted on machines other than excavators? Yes. Thanks to its low weight, it is suitable for farm loaders, telehandlers, and wheel loaders.
