The Woodcracker C550 is manufactured entirely from high-strength Hardox® steel, ensuring unprecedented durability against mechanical wear. The design features sophisticated ergonomic geometry in the midsection and fully protected components, including cylinders with end-position damping. To withstand humid environments and extreme weather, the entire structure undergoes a KTL (cathodic dip-priming) treatment followed by a premium powder coating, providing top-tier corrosion protection.

Setting it apart from other heads, the C550 comes standard with the Multigrip controller—an intelligent hydraulic block that manages the required power independently of the base machine’s flow. This system ensures a safe work cycle: during the cut, the powerful, synchronously closing gripper holds the trunk firmly before the blade engages, allowing for vertical tree removal to protect the surrounding area. Additionally, the Autospeed option accelerates the cutting cycle in smaller timber, significantly increasing operational efficiency.
