The BL3/EX series features a reinforced frame and internal body with dust-proof protection, designed to shield vital mechanical components from the airborne particles inherent in forestry operations. The hydraulic motor is fully integrated into the structure to prevent damage from side impacts. Power is transmitted via Poly-Chain® belts, ensuring smooth energy transfer, reduced maintenance, and a significantly longer service life compared to conventional belt systems.  

Performance and Torque: VT (Variable Torque) Technology.
This head is equipped with a 110/60 cc Variable Torque (VT) hydraulic piston motor. This intelligent system significantly boosts mulcher performance by automatically increasing motor torque when the rotor encounters resistance, minimizing stalling and optimizing the base excavator’s fuel consumption. It is designed to operate with flow rates of 120-210 L/min at pressures up to 350 bar.

Mulching Quality: Bite Limiter and Spike PRO counter-blades.
The rotor features proprietary Bite Limiter technology: special steel profiles that limit the blades’ cutting depth, reducing power demand and maintaining a constant rotation speed even in hardwoods. For a superior finish, optional Spike PRO counter-blades can be integrated to ensure a fine and homogeneous granulometry. Additionally, the forged steel BL blades are resharpenable, significantly lowering long-term operating costs.
