1. What maximum wood diameter can the W1000 process? The 1,040 mm opening determines the size of the final split piece but does not limit the maximum log diameter that can be processed. It can make multiple passes on logs of any thickness until they are fully divided.    

2. How does using these splitting tongs improve biomass? Pre-splitting exposes the interior of the log to the air, facilitating a much faster natural seasoning process. This reduces moisture, increases the calorific value of the chips, and elevates the final energy yield.
