Powered by a Caterpillar C32 engine block delivering 1,125 hp (839 kW) and managed via a PT Tech HPTO 15FX clutch , this grinder features a massive hopper with an 8.4 m³ capacity and a length of 533 cm. The feed system relies on a powerful 5-section feed chain that spans the full width of the hopper. Its impressive standard feed opening of 168 x 127 cm can expand up to 168 x 165 cm in its dedicated land clearing mode , allowing the 107 cm diameter upper compression roll to grab, crush, and feed bulky material without interruption or clogging.
