Engineering and Design: Hardox® Durability for Ground-Level Work. True to the “engineering for the woods” philosophy, the Woodcracker L1200 stands out for its low-profile design, which allows for splitting operations extremely close to the ground without compromising the structure. It is manufactured entirely from high-strength Hardox® steel, ensuring extreme durability against severe mechanical wear. To guarantee maximum longevity in humid or harsh environments, the structure undergoes a KTL (cathodic dip-priming) treatment and an anti-corrosive powder coating.  

Performance and Feed: 33-Ton Splitting Power. The L1200 has been developed to divide even the thickest and most resilient logs with optimized force requirements from the carrier machine. It exerts a splitting force of up to 33 tons at an operating pressure of 220 to 270 bar, allowing for fast and smooth work cycles. The use of premium pin bearings ensures fluid operation, drastically reducing maintenance needs and service requirements.

Biomass Quality and Versatility: Integrated Splitting and Loading. Pre-splitting large logs with the L1200 enables a natural seasoning (drying) process, resulting in a direct increase in biomass quality and final energy yield. Thanks to its intelligent design, this attachment also functions as a loading gripper, allowing the operator to split, organize, and feed chippers in a single operation without changing tools. It is the perfect solution for supplying material to high-capacity chippers.
