Built entirely from high-strength Hardox® steel, the Woodcracker C350 is manufactured to withstand the most severe environments. The chassis features a sophisticated ergonomic geometry and a cathodic dip-priming (KTL) followed by powder coating, ensuring superior durability against corrosion and mechanical wear. Critical components, such as the cylinders with end-position damping, are fully protected to minimize unforeseen downtime.

Cutting and Performance: Power with Intelligent Control.
At the heart of the C350 is its patented cutting unit, capable of processing diameters up to 400 mm in softwood and 350 mm in hardwood. It comes standard with the Multigrip controller—an intelligent hydraulic system that synchronizes the gripper and blade closure to ensure a firm hold before the cut. This also allows for vertical log handling, making it perfect for precision felling in high-risk zones.

Versatility and Options: Optimized for Biomass.  
To maximize profitability in young stands or thinning operations, the C350 can be optionally equipped with the Autospeed system, which accelerates the cutting cycle in smaller timber. Furthermore, the collector (accumulator) option allows for the harvesting of multiple stems in a single cycle, significantly optimizing productivity in biomass operations and roadside or riverbank maintenance.

1. What maintenance does the Woodcracker C350 blade require? The blade is made of high-strength steel and is fully replaceable. Thanks to its patented fastening system, it is very easy to remove for sharpening or replacement, drastically reducing downtime.  

2. Can I use this head to load logs? Yes. With the Tiltator option (360° continuous rotation) or the cylinder-driven tilt system, the head becomes an excellent tool for sorting and loading timber or harvest residues.

3. Is it difficult to install on my current excavator? Not at all. The design is “Plug & Play.” It only requires 5 hydraulic connections and is compatible with any standard quick coupler on the market.

4. What is the benefit of the collector (accumulator) option? It is ideal for processing small wood or brush. It allows you to cut and hold several stems before releasing them, multiplying productivity in biomass and land-clearing jobs.

5. Is it suitable for mountain forestry? Absolutely. Its robust structure and secure gripping system make it ideal for hazardous felling on steep terrain, slopes, and difficult-to-access areas.
