Hybrid Technology: Instant Power The secret lies in the perfect fusion between the AGCO Power 74 LFTN diesel engine (291 hp) and a powerful integrated electric motor. The electrical system acts as an “instant turbo,” providing up to 104 kW and an additional 500 Nm in microseconds when the load increases (during feeding or cutting). This allows the diesel engine to run at constant, efficient RPMs, eliminating power dips and drastically reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Dual Pump Hydraulic System: To master this power, the 8H GTE Hybrid comes standard with a colossal hydraulic system featuring two dedicated pumps: 210 + 180 l/min (total 390 l/min). This massive flow guarantees speed never falters: you can feed the largest tree at top speed, rotate the head, and reposition the crane simultaneously without the slightest hesitation.

Stability and Heavy-Duty: Crane Built on a robust 8-wheel chassis with 710/45-26.5 tires, it offers unwavering stability. 1. Do I need to plug the machine in to charge the hybrid system? No, absolutely not. The hybrid system is self-sufficient. The electric motor acts as a generator when the diesel engine has a low load (for example, when releasing the stem or braking), recharging the supercapacitors automatically in seconds.  

2. What is the real advantage of the hybrid over conventional diesel? The main advantage is torque response. The electric motor delivers its power instantly, preventing the diesel engine from “bogging down” against a difficult log. This results in much smoother operation and significant fuel savings per cubic meter produced.

3. Is maintenance more complicated because it is a hybrid? Logset’s electrical system is designed to be maintenance-free. It uses supercapacitors instead of complex chemical batteries, ensuring long service life and reliability in extreme forestry conditions.

4. How does it perform on slopes? With 8 wheels, a weight of 23 tons, and improved tractive force of 195 kN (higher than the standard version), it is an exceptionally capable machine on steep slopes, offering superior traction and stability.

5. Is it suitable for large-sized Eucalyptus? It is arguably the best machine on the market for it. The combination of 423 hp and the TH75 head allows for debarking and processing large-diameter, tough eucalyptus with an ease that conventional machines cannot match.
