Following a “forest-proven engineering” philosophy, the chassis of the Logset 6F GT stands out for the heavy-duty strength of its structural components. The main mechanical parts—including the front and rear frames, the center articulation joint, the bogie supports, and its rugged solid hood—have been rigorously reinforced to withstand heavy loads and challenging environments, ensuring an extended service life. One of its key advantages is the versatility of its load space (with a bunk area of 4.85–5.85 m²), featuring a load deck length that is fully adjustable between 4 and 5.2 meters to adapt precisely to different stacking methods and log lengths. 

The pulling and extraction performance of the Logset 6F GT is driven by the 6-cylinder, 7.4-liter AGCO Power 74 LFTN diesel engine, which delivers 169 kW (230 hp) at 1,850 rpm. With a torque output of 1,000 Nm at 1,500 rpm, it provides a constant power reserve that translates into uncompromised high productivity. Its two-speed hydrostatic-mechanical transmission integrates seamlessly with the reliable NAF bogie axles, unleashing a gross tractive force of 196 kN that allows it to conquer steep slopes and soft ground effortlessly. Additionally, SCR engine technology reduces emissions, ensuring the machine runs cleaner with one of the lowest fuel consumption rates on the market. 

The connection between the operator and the machine is a central pillar of Logset’s design. The 6F GT cabin is exceptionally spacious and quiet, offering a clean environment with outstanding 360° panoramic views of all wheels and the logging site thanks to its low window line. The operator maintains total control without taking their hands off the controls, utilizing ergonomic mini-joysticks and a customizable button layout integrated into the advanced TOC 2 intelligent control system. For long shifts, the cabin can be tailored with the Smooth Ride cabin suspension system and the premium Smooth HIFI audio package. 

This model features an optimized and simplified hydraulic system that minimizes energy demands and maintains stable oil temperatures. It incorporates a 140 cc hydraulic pump, an operating pressure of 24 MPa, and a 175-liter net oil tank engineered to ensure a long service life for all components.

1- What transport distances is the Logset 6F GT recommended for? It is specifically engineered to haul large volumes of wood over longer forwarding distances than usual. On these extended hauls, its low fuel consumption and high constant speed optimize profitability per cubic meter.
