The Woodcracker CB230 is manufactured entirely from high-strength Hardox® steel, ensuring extreme durability with minimal maintenance. Its chassis features an ergonomic and compact design that facilitates access to dense stands. To withstand humidity and severe climates, the entire structure undergoes a KTL (cathodic dip-priming) treatment followed by powder coating, offering industrial-grade corrosion protection.

The core of the CB230’s performance lies in its synchronously closing accumulator arms (collector). This system allows for the felling and retention of several trees or shrubs in a single pass before depositing them in an organized manner, saving critical operating time and reducing fuel consumption. The mechanism is optimized for oil flows between 60 and 120 l/min, allowing for seamless integration with the carrier machine’s hydraulics.

1. Can I use the Woodcracker CB230 for hazardous tree felling? No. The Woodcracker CB series is not suitable for hazardous felling of large trees, as it cannot guarantee a secure safety grip in those cases. For precision felling or heavy timber, we recommend the Woodcracker C or CS series.       

2. How does the accumulator system benefit my production? The system allows for the collection of multiple stems in a single work cycle without releasing them. This organizes the wood placement and drastically increases harvesting speed in thinning and biomass clearing.

3. What advantage does the blade positioning offer? By being situated between the arms, the blade ensures a more stable cut and a clean surface. This promotes natural plant regrowth, ensuring the regeneration of the harvested forest area.
