The Woodcracker C250 stands out for its sophisticated ergonomic design, intended to integrate perfectly with light carrier machines without sacrificing robustness. Built entirely from high-strength Hardox® steel, the entire structure undergoes a KTL (cathodic dip-priming) treatment and powder coating, providing an impenetrable barrier against corrosion in humid environments. Additionally, it features a reinforced main bolt with a special safety nut to withstand continuous mechanical stress.

Cutting and Performance: Intelligent Control as Standard.
Despite its compact size, the C250 comes standard with the advanced Multigrip controller. This intelligent hydraulic block regulates the flow to ensure that the powerful, synchronously closing gripper securely holds the tree before the cutting unit engages. The system is optimized for true “Plug & Play” operation, requiring only 5 hydraulic connections to manage all functions, including rotation options.

Quality and Precision: Patented Cutting Technology.
The cutting system utilizes a high-strength blade with a patented fastening system that allows for quick and easy replacement or resharpening directly in the field. To ensure clean cuts and prevent jamming, the unit includes an automatic cleaning comb for the blade. For smaller timber, the optional Autospeed system accelerates the closing cycles, optimizing performance during roadside maintenance and infrastructure clearing.

2. Is the Multigrip system included or is it an extra? The Multigrip controller is integrated as standard in the Woodcracker C250. This system guarantees a secure hold by hydraulically synchronizing the gripper and the blade, ensuring the log is never accidentally released.  

3. Can I use the C250 for roadside maintenance? Absolutely. This is one of its primary applications. Thanks to its ability to hold the tree in a vertical position, it allows for precision felling along roadsides or near infrastructure with total safety.

4. What maintenance does the blade require? The blade is designed for high strength and low wear. Its patented design allows it to be easily removed from the bottom for sharpening or replacement, minimizing machine downtime.

5. Is it suitable for working on soft terrain or riverbanks? Yes, due to its reduced weight, it is ideal for working in marshy areas, riverbanks, or terrain with low load-bearing capacity where light yet powerful machinery is required.
