The hybrid system reacts instantly to the workload, providing 2080 Nm of torque exactly when the machine needs it (such as feeding heavy logs or climbing slopes). This allows the diesel engine to run at stable RPMs, reducing noise, emissions, and fuel consumption per cubic meter produced.

Massive Dual-Circuit Hydraulics: To power the largest heads on the market, the 12H GTE Hybrid features a dual-pump hydraulic system delivering a total flow of 420 l/min (210 + 210 l/min). This guarantees that the crane, the harvesting head, and the transmission operate simultaneously at maximum speed, without pressure drops, even when handling multi-ton trees.

2. Why does it use 28.5-inch tires? Due to its 24.5-ton weight and immense power, it requires larger-than-standard tires (compared to the usual 26.5″) to support the load, improve stability, and increase the ground contact area, thereby reducing soil compaction.

3. How does the hybrid system benefit such a large machine? In large machines, fuel consumption peaks are huge. The hybrid system “smooths out” these peaks by providing instant electrical energy, allowing the use of a more efficient diesel engine and saving thousands of liters of fuel annually compared to a pure diesel machine of similar power.

4. What type of trees can it process? It is designed for the biggest jobs: mature Eucalyptus globulus, large-diameter Pine, and tropical or continental hardwoods. If the TH85 head can grab it, the 12H can process it.
