The history of Forest Pioneer began in 1993 when Emilio BRAVO, owner and founder of the company, decided to move from Irun to Palencia to study Forestry Engineering at the ETSIA PALENCIA UNIVERSITY OF VALLADOLID.
1996
After finishing his studies, he moved to Finland to work at the AFM Forest Oy harvesting head factory for 2 years. This is the beginning of the collaboration between the forestry engineer Emilio BRAVO and the Finnish manufacturer.
1998-2000
In 1998, the first AFM harvester head was delivered under the Forest Pioneer brand name, pioneering multiple applications: logging, skidding, brushcutting, chipping.....
2008
In 2008, when we created the distribution company Forest Pioneer SL, importer of well-known brands in the world of forestry mechanisation such as: AFM, QUADCO, NEUSON Forest, TIMBERPRO, LOGSET, ASTEC, KAISER, CAMOX, FAE, KERSHAW, WESTTECH, VOSCH, RISUTEC, ... with which we have today.
2009
In 2009 Forest Pioneer sold the first wheel harvester in Galicia, a TimberPro TB630B with an AFM 60 euca harvester head and the first Kaiser S2.4 Cross backreamer in Aragon.
2011
In 2011 the first Neuson Ecotec 182 HVT chain harvester with an AFM 60 harvester head in Cantabria, the first Logset 5F forwarder in Galicia and the first TimberPro TB630B wheel feller buncher with TDS 22 disc harvester head and in 2013 the first QUADCO disc harvester heads in France.
2015
In 2015 we added to our product range different attachments for tree felling, high altitude pruning and maintenance of banks, roads and power lines and came the sales of the first 3/4″ VOSCH 2000-7T saw clamp, the first Westtech C250 shear and in this 2017 the first Kershaw 75 G3 telescopic pruning shear. We have also diversified our product range by selling the first Logset wheel harvester units.
